This collaborative effort with Koronis Biomedical Technologies (lead) is to develop a system to help a wheelchair user to navigate a possibly unknown or dynamically changing outdoor route, taking into account the constraints placed on wheelchair operation. Adventium developed the system concept of operations, defined the system software architecture, and evaluated and confirmed the route planning algorithm, a critical component in demonstrating feasibility of the program concept.
